Abstract

The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of a pump accessory for a wet and dry vacuum cleaner having an upper housing portion, an intermediate housing portion, and a lower housing portion; the upper housing portion has a smooth curved generally semi-cylindroid top surface that merges into outwardly and downwardly curved side surfaces; the smooth curved front surface of the upper housing portion has a generally rectangular recessed area therein; the recessed area has a flat bottom surface, flat sides surfaces extending generally at right angles to the bottom surface, and a rear surface extending generally at right angles to the bottom and side surfaces; the rear surface has a thin generally rectangular raised area with rounded corners and a flat surface which has a concentrically situated generally rectangular smaller raised area thereon with rounded corners, beveled sides, and a flat surface; the flat surface of the smaller raised area has a rectangular area therein; the lower end of the upper housing portion has an open area having beveled upper, lower and end surfaces; the open area has a series of generally rectangular inwardly extending walls which are equally spaced apart and generally parallel in the front and rear surfaces of the upper housing portion and are generally parallel in the outer sections of the curved side surfaces of the upper housing portion;the intermediate housing portion has smooth curved side surfaces and slightly outwardly curved front and rear surfaces; the front and rear surfaces have a generally semi-elliptical areas which extend downwards from adjacent the lower edge of the upper housing portion part way along the height of the intermediate housing portion;the lower housing portion has smooth curved side surfaces and slightly outwardly curved front and rear surfaces which generally follow the contour of the front, rear and side surfaces of the intermediate housing portion; a series of elongated narrow slots having beveled sides and lower edges extend across the front, rear and side surfaces of the lower housing portion adjacent the lower edge of the intermediate housing portion; a circumferential ridge spaced slightly above and generally parallel to the lower edge of the lower housing portion extends around the lower housing portion; the lower end of the lower housing portion has a generally cylindrical outwardly extending projection which is situated below the lower edge of the lower housing portion; the bottom surface of the lower housing portion has a central raised cylindrical area and a generally cylindrical pipe-like member extending generally radially outwards from adjacent the raised cylindrical area to adjacent the outside surface of the lower housing portion; a flat ridge having a curved inner edge extends along the lower surface of the pipe-like member;a central groove extends across the top and along the sides of the pump accessory to the bottom edge of the lower housing portion of the pump accessory; the rear side surfaces of the intermediate and lower housing portions of the pump accessory have generally identical recessed areas therein adjacent the central groove, each recessed area having a semi-oblong shape in rear elevation view.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1 is a right front perspective view of a pump accessory for a wet and dry vacuum cleaner;Fig. 2 is a top view of the pump accessory;Fig. 3 is a front elevation view of the pump accessory; Fig. 4 is a side elevation view of the pump accessory;Fig. 5 is an opposite side elevation view of the pump accessory;Fig. 6 is a back view of the pump accessory; Fig. 7 is a bottom view of the pump accessory; andFig. 8 is a perspective view of an exemplary use and attachment of the pump accessory to a wet and dry vacuum cleaner.The stippled lines in Figure 1-8 are for illustrative purposes only and do not form part of the design.Diagrams of the design are included.
