Abstract

anel de pistão e respectivo processo de fabricação a invenção relaciona-se com uma composição de material de aço, especialmente para produzir anéis de pistão e mangas cilíndricas, tendo uma boa capacidade de nitretação. a referida composição contém os elementos seguintes em uma dada quantidade em relação a 100 % em peso do material de aço: entre 0,5 e 1,5 % em peso de al, entre 0,5 e 1,2 % em peso de c, entre 68,2 e 96,9 % em peso de fe, entre 0,1 e 3,0 % em peso de mn e entre 2,0 e 10,0 % em peso de si. a citada composição pode ser produzida vazando uma fusão dos materiais de partida num molde pré-fabricado. ao nitretar a composição obtida de material de aço cria-se uma composição de material de aço nitretado que tem propriedades que sobrepassam as propriedades do ferro fundido melhorado com grafite nodular como resultado da produção de dita composição por moldagem gravitacional.
