Abstract

COMPOSIÇÃO POLIMÉRICA E MÉTODO PARA LUBRIFICAR UMA SUPERFÍCIE.São descritas composições que incluem: a) de 15 % em peso a 60% em peso de um ou mais interpolímeros aleatórios de óxido de alquileno, cada qual tendo um peso molecular médio ponderal variando de 250 g/mol a 2000 g/mol e compreendendo de 30% em peso a 60% em peso de unidades poliméricas derivadas de óxido de etileno; e b) de 40% em peso a 85 % em peso de um ou mais interpolimeros em bloco de óxido de alquileno, cada qual tendo um peso molecular médio ponderal variando de 1500g/mol a 4000 g/mol e compreendendo de 40% em peso a 90% em peso de blocos de óxido de propileno. As composições possuem uma primeira viscosidade na ausência de água e uma segunda viscosidade, que é pelo menos 60% da primeira viscosidade, quando pelo menos 10% em peso de água está presente. São também descritos métodos para lubrificar superfícies com tais composições, especialmente superfícies de mancal para embarcação marítima.
