Abstract
GÉIS. A presente invenção refere-se a gel bioestável compreendendo: (a) pelo menos um poliol, poliamina, poliepóxi ou poijisocianato contendo silício tendo 1 ou mais grupos funcionais e um peso molecular de pelo menos 20.000 que é curado na presença de: (b) pelo menos um diol, diamina ou diisocianato tendo um peso molecular de menos do que 10.000; e/ou (c) um iniciador, processos para sua preparação e seu uso na fabricação e reparo de biomateriais e dispositivos médicos, artigos ou implantes, em particular a fabricação de implante de tecido mole tal como implantes de mama e o reparo de juntas ortopédicas tal como discos espinhais.
