artigo tubular eletricamiente condutor biodegradável e/ou bioabsorvível, método para tratar uma lesão por compressão na medula espinhal, dispositivo para implantar dentro da medula espinhal de um paciente, artigo médico, método para tratar uma lesão na medula espinhal de ferimento aberto, e, kit para tratar uma lesão na medula espinhal. dispositivos e métodos para o tratamento de lesões da medula espinhal de ferimento aberto ou fechado são divulgados. por exemplo, são aqui descritos dispositivos e métodos para mitigar a lesão secundária às lesões primárias da medula espinhal e promover a sua recuperação. mais particularmente, certas formas de realização da presente invenção são direcionadas a minitubos poliméricos que podem ser usados para o tratamento de lesões da medula espinhal. além disso, outras formas de realização são direcionadas a bandagens de "enchimento" poliméricas que podem ser usadas para o tratamento de lesões da medula espinhal. por exemplo, uma forma erodível ou biodegradável do polímero biocompatível da presente invenção é fabricada para a implantação cirúrgica no sítio da lesão na medula espinhal.
