Abstract
CATALISADORES PARA A PRODUÇçO DE HIDROGÊNIO PARA CÉLULAS A COMBUSTÍVEL DE BAIXA TEMPERATURA A PARTIR DA REFORMA A VAPOR E DA REFORMA AUTOTÉRMICA DE ÁLCOOIS. Nesta invenção, foram utilizados catalisadores a base de óxido de cério modificado ou não com 0,5 a 10 % em peso de promotores alcalinos e alcalinos terrosos (Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs, Fr, Be, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Ra) e a base de óxidos mistos contendo cério e zircônio (Ce~ x~Zr~ 1-x~O~ 2~; onde 0,1< x < 0,9) para a produção de hidrogênio para células a combustível de baixa temperatura a partir da reforma a vapor e da reforma autotérmica de álcoois (Cl a C5), em particular do etanol, ou de uma mistura destes álcoois, como por exemplo bio-etanol, em temperaturas entre 723 e 823 K. Os catalisadores descritos nesta invenção apresentam boa atividade e estabilidade, alta seletividade para hidrogênio, baixa formação de monóxido de carbono (< 150 ppm), pequenas quantidades de acetaldeido e eteno e nenhuma formação de acetona.
