Abstract

COPOLÍMEROS DE ESTIRENO E BUTADIENO, PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAÇçO DOS MESMOS E COMPOSIÇÕES ADESIVAS DE ALTA COESçO. O presente pedido de patente de invenção trata de copolímeros de estireno e butadieno (SER), os quais são preparados através da tecnologia de polimerização em emulsão aquosa, sendo estes, direcionados à indústria de adesivos e selantes e particularmente úteis na preparação de adesivos de contato e adesivos sensíveis à pressão (PSA), os quais têm grande aplicação na indústria de calçados e moveleira. A utilização deste tipo de elastômero nos processos de preparação de adesivos, em base aquosa ou em base de solventes, confere alta coesão às composições adesivas, sem o comprometimento da adesão. A presente invenção visa, também, a proteção do processo de obtenção dos copolímeros de SBR, que compreende, simultaneamente: a polimerização em emulsão aquosa a elevadas temperaturas, a utilização de um surfactante específico e a manutenção da viscosidade Mooney e do teor de estireno combinado no copolimero em faixas elevadas. O presente pedido tem ainda por objeto proteger as composições adesivas que são obtidas a partir dos copolimeros de SER, quer na forma sólida ou de látex, desta invenção.
