trata-se de métodos de comunicação sem fio entre um console de jogos e um acessório sem fio usando um protocolo. o protocolo é usado em um sistema com espectro de intervalo de salto de freqúência tdma para habilitar comunicaçáo simultânea de voz e dados entre uma pluralidade de acessórios sem fio e o console de jogos de computador. o protocolo fornece espaços de tempo específicos para transmissões de transmissão e de descida, bem como intervalos de tempo de re-transmissáo para habilitar um ambiente robusto com latência mínima.

Campo da Invenção
Essa invenção geralmente refere-se ao campo de jogos e dispositivos multimídia. Em particular, a presente invenção é direcionada a um protocolo sem fio usado para comunicar dados e informação de voz entre um dispositivo de jogos e acessórios periféricos sem fio.
Fundamentos da Invenção
Em sistemas de jogos há uma forte demanda por controladores sem fio de modo a eliminar cabeamento amarrado através de tantas salas de estar. Controladores sem fio existentes são dispendiosos e nem sempre fornecem uma conexão robusta ao dispositivo de jogos por causa de interferência. Latência é uma outra preocupação crítica para os jogadores, à medida que é desejável que o controlador sem fio responda como um controlador por fio.   1. REIVINDICAÇÕES
    1. Método para comunicar com um console de jogos (100) a partir de uma pluralidade de acessórios sem fio (142; 154) usando um protocolo sem fio (200), caracterizado pelo fato de que compreende as etapas de:
    transmitir um pacote de dados de transmissão (202208) em um sub-quadro de transmissão (200A) a partir do acessório sem fio ao console de jogos, o pacote de dados de transmissão compreendendo um primeiro sub-pacote de dados de transmissão e um primeiro sub-pacote de voz de transmissão de modo que os dados de voz e os dados do acessório sem fio são comunicados simultaneamente no pacote de dados de transmissão em um mesmo intervalo de tempo, os dados do acessório sem fio compreendendo dados de entrada para controlar o console de jogos;
    receber, no acessório sem fio, um pacote de voz de recepção (210, 214) e um pacote de dados de enlace descendente (212) difundido a partir do console de jogos em um sub-quadro de enlace descendente (200B), o pacote de dados de enlace descendente compreendendo sub-campos de dados prédeterminados contendo dados de cada um da pluralidade de acessórios sem fio;
    caso um reconhecimento para o acessório sem fio não seja recebido a partir do console de jogos no pacote de dados de recepção difundidos, transmitir um pacote de retransmissão de enlace ascendente (216) a partir do acessório sem fio durante um sub-quadro de re-transmissão, o pacote de re-transmissão de enlace ascendente compreendendo os dados

  2. 2. Método, de acordo com a reivindicação 1, caracterizado pelo fato de que:
    o primeiro sub—pacote de dados de transmissão e o primeiro sub—pacote de voz de transmissão são determinados para um primeiro intervalo de tempo; e um subsequente pacote de dados de transmissão que compreende um subsequente sub—pacote de dados e um subsequente sub-pacote de voz de transmissão é determinado para um subsequente intervalo de tempo.
  3. 3. Método, de acordo com a reivindicação 2, carac- terizado pelo fato de que ainda compreende:
    transmitir os dados do acessório sem fio no primeiro sub-pacote de dados de transmissão; e transmitir os dados de voz no primeiro sub-pacote de voz de transmissão, em que os dados de voz são de um dispositivo habilitado por voz.
