Abstract

PROCESSO DE HIDROGENAçãO SELETIVA PELO USO DE UM CATALISADOR SULFURADO. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para executar, juntamente, a hidrogenação de compostos poliinsaturados em compostos monoinsaturados contidos em gasolinas e para transformar compostos leves contendo enxofre em compostos mais pesados pela reação com compostos insaturados, o processo citado empregando um catalisador com suporte compreendendo, no mínimo, um metal do grupo VIB e, no mínimo, um metal não nobre do grupo VIII utilizado na forma sulfurizada depositada em um suporte e tendo uma composição específica. O processo da invenção consiste em colocar a alimentação em contato com o catalisador a uma temperatura na faixa de 80<198>C a 220<198>C a uma velocidade espacial horária de líquido na faixa de 1 h¬ -1¬ a 10 h¬ -1¬ e a uma pressão na faixa de 0,5 a 5 Mpa.
