Abstract

MéTODO DE UNIR UM PAR DE CABOS ELéTRICOS ENTRE SI, JUNçãO PARA CABOS ELéTRICOS, PROCESSO PARA FABRICAR UMA LUVA TUBULAR DE COBERTURA E LUVA TUBULAR DE COBERTURA PARA JUNTAS DE CABOS ELéTRICOS. é fabricada uma luva tubular de cobertura (9) que compreende um corpo tubular primário (10) externamente revestido com uma bainha (14) formada de uma camada de material semicondutor (15) acoplada com uma camada de elastómero (16). A bainha (14) é feita separadamente do corpo primário e subseqúentemente acoplada com o mesmo, antes ou depois de acoplamento do próprio corpo primário em uma região de emenda entre dois cabos elétricos (2a, 2b). A luva em um estado radialmente expandido é ajustada em torno de um dos cabos antes de conectar os condutores eletricamente (3a, 3b). Então uma retração radial da luva (9) nos cabos (2a, 2b) é causada na região de emenda. Para realizar uma seccionalização (18), uma porção de extremidade da bainha e da camada semicondutora (16) apenas é virada para cima ou mecanicamente removida, antes ou depois de engate da bainha (14) com o corpo tubular primário (10).
