Abstract

UM MéTODO E UM SISTEMA PARA DETERMINAçãO DE DESBALANCEAMENTOS DE RODA DE PELO MENOS UMA RODA EM UM VEìCULO. A presente invenção se refere a um sistema e um método de determinação de desbalanceamentos de pelo menos uma roda em um veículo, quando referida roda está girando. O método compreende as etapas de proporcionar um sinal de vibração a partir de pelo menos um sensor de vibração de roda associado com referida roda; proporcionar um sinal de velocidade angular da rotação de referida roda, o sinal de velocidade angular compreendendo um sinal de referência indicando um início de uma revolução de roda; e fundamentado nisso, execução de processamento de sinal sobre estes sinais para detecção de um sinal periódico de uma natureza pré-determinada correspondendo para desbalanceamentos em referida roda e determinando a posição sobre referida pelo menos uma roda de tal desbalanceamento. Conseqúentemente, um sistema de detecção de desbalanceamento de roda separado a partir do veículo não é mais absolutamente necessário porque em concordância com a presente invenção, o presente método está caracterizado pelo fato de que o referido método proporciona uma indicação de maneira a fornecer a localização precisa e o tipo de qualquer desbalanceamento detectado em uma roda. Por se ter a capacidade de localização da posição sobre a roda de tal desbalanceamento de roda, o tempo de manutenção utilizado é consíderavelmente reduzido. Adicionalmente, a possibilidade de uma detecção precoce de um desbalanceamento de roda reduz o risco de que danos venham a se desenvolver adicionalmente.
