Abstract
REDUçãO DE ARSENIETO NA FLOTAçãO DE MINERAIS DE MULTI-SULFETO. Um processo de separação de mineral inclui moagem úmida do minério para liberação de minerais, oxidação da lama empregando ar, peróxido de hidrogênio ou outros oxidantes e flotação dos minerais valiosos em um pH entre cerca de 9,0 e 10,0 com um xantato como coletor, e uma combinação de uma poliamina e uma espécie contendo enxofre como redutor para minerais de arsenieto. Este conjunto de redutores efetivamente reduz a flotação de minerais de arsenieto com nenhum efeito na flotação de minerais valiosos.
