Abstract
APARELHO E MéTODO PARA LIBERAçãO TRANSDéRMICA DE AGENTES COM BASE EM FENTANILA. A presente invenção refere-se a um aparelho e método para transdermicamente liberar um agente biologicamente ativo compreendendo um sistema de liberação tendo um membro de microprojeção (ou sistema) que inclui uma pluralidade de microprojeções (ou conjunto destas) que são adaptadas para perfurar através do stratum corneum na camada da epiderme subjacente, ou camadas da epiderme e da derme. Em uma modalidade, o agente com base em fentanila está contido em um revestimento biocompatível que é aplicado ao membro de microprojeção. Em uma outra modalidade, o sistema de liberação inclui um pacote de gel tendo uma formulação de hidrogel contendo agente com base em fentanila que é disposta no membro de microprojeção após aplicação à pele de um paciente. Em uma modalidade alternativa, o agente com base em fentanila está contido tanto no revestimento quanto na formulação de hidrogel.
