Abstract

MéTODO DE PREPARAR éSTERES DE ALQUILA DE áCIDO GRAXO A PARTIR DE MATéRIA-PRIMA DE áCIDO GRAXO RECICLADA OU RESIDUAL. A presente invenção é direcionada a um método ou preparação de ésteres de alquila de ácido graxo de ácidos graxas contidos em correntes de co-produto ou matéria-prima de ácido graxa reciclada ou residual. O método presente utiliza uma resina acídica para converter a matéria-prima de ácido graxo em ésteres. O método presente cerca o usa de cromatografia de leito móvel simulado reativo, em que acima de cerca de 95 por cento da matéria-prima de ácido graxa são convertidos em ásteres de alquila de ácido graxo. O método presente foi otimizado para separar o produto de éster da corrente de rafinato formada durante o processo cromatográfico, desse modo melhorando o rendimento da esterificação e prevenindo hidrólise ácida do éster.
