Abstract

PROCESSO PARA PRODUçãO DE UM REVESTIMENTO SOBRE UM ANEL DE PISTãO, BEM COMO ANEL DE PISTãO. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para produção de um revestimento sobre a superfície periférica externa de um como de base de anel de pistão, sendo que várias camadas são aplicadas, camada por camada, sobre a superfície periférica, de tal modo que, primeiramente, é aplicada sobre a superfície periférica, no processo de PVD, pelo menos uma camada de aderência metálica, na base de Cr (4), sem adição de nitrogênio ao gás de processo, subseqüentemente, é adicionado nitrogênio ao gás de processo, sob aumento da pressão parcial de nitrogênio, para formação de uma camada de gradiente de CrN (5) sobre a camada de aderência, e, finalmente, é aplicada pelo menos uma camada de cobertura (6) com composição constante, na base de CrN, Cr2N ou uma mistura das duas fases, sobre a camada de gradiente de CrN.
