Abstract

INSTRUMENTO AUTO-AJUSTáVEL. A presente invenção refere-se a um instrumento de limpeza e/ou formação e/ou alargamento de um canal que existe em ou através de um objeto sólido. A configuração do instrumento, do superelástico e das propriedades de memória de formato do material a partir do qual o mesmo é produzido, permitem um volume interno encerrado pelo instrumento, o seu contorno externo, ou ambas as mudanças como um resultado das forças exercidas sobre o mesmo enquanto está trabalhando, desta maneira conformando o instrumento ao contorno tridimensional do canal. Uma modalidade preferida do instrumento é uma lima endodóntica para uso de limpeza, formação e alargamento nos estágios do procedimento do canal de raiz.
