Abstract

"APARELHO PARA CONTROLAR RELAçãO AR-COMBUSTìVEL DE MOTOR". A presente invenção refere-se a um aparelho para controlar uma relação ar-combustível de um motor, compreendendo um sistema de descarga tendo um catalisador de três vias e conectado a um orifício de descarga, formado em uma cabeça do cilindro do motor, e um sensor de oxigênio, que detecta se uma relação ar-combustível é rica ou pobre, com base em uma concentração de oxigênio em um gás de descarga, e que é preso ao sistema de descarga no lado a montante do catalisador de três vias, de modo que um valor detectado pelo sensor de oxigênio é refletido em um controle da relação ar-combustível, para remover, efetivamente, NOx no gás de descarga, por uso de um sensor de oxigênio de baixo custo. Um sensor de oxigênio (33) é preso em um tubo de descarga (27), que constitui uma parte de um sistema de descarga (26) e é conectado ao orifício de descarga (25), com uma distância entre o sensor de oxigênio (33) e o orifício de descarga (25) sendo igual ou inferior a 10 vezes um raio do orifício de descarga (25).
