Abstract
"COMPOSIçãO DE LABDANO DITERPENOS EXTRAìDOS A PARTIR DE ANDROGRAPHIS PANICULATA, UTIL PARA O TRATAMENTO DE DOENçAS AUTOIMUNES, E DOENçA DE ALZHEIMER POR ATIVAçãO DE RECEPTORES PPR-GAMA". A presente invenção refere-se a uma composição constituída por moléculas identificadas como labdanos diterpênicos, que são obtidos a partir de espécies de plantas valiosas de Andrographis paniculata, erva seca por um processo especial de extração para o tratamento de doenças imunológicas que não sejam auto-imunes em seres humanos e animais, exibindo uma baixa toxicidade e ausência de efeitos colaterais significantes. Do mesmo modo, a nova composição é útil para preparar uma composição farmacêutica útil para prevenir e tratar doença de Alzheimer. A composição inibe a síntese de citocinas pró-inflamatórias, como um resultado da ativação de receptor PPAR gama e diminuição do fator nuclear kapa B. Além disso, por suas próprias características terapêuticas, esta nova composição resolve as incoveniências dos medicamentos, procedimentos e produtos que apresentam um nível de toxicidade importante e/ou causam efeitos colaterais indesejados. A presente invenção tem aplicações em imunofarmacologia, farmacologia veterinária e humana pré-clínica e clínica, tecnologia farmacêutica, reumatologia, e imunologia clínica, imunoterapia, transplante de tecido e órgão e doenças de imunodeficiência, tais como AIDS.
