Abstract

CéLULA ELETROLìTICA PARA TRATAR áGUA CONTAMINADA A presente invenção se refere a um processo para tratar água contaminada contendo microorganismos compreendendo a alimentação de uma corrente de água contaminada a um fluxo volumétrico de cerca de 1 a cerca de 1.000 m¬ 3¬/h através de uma zona de eletrolisador, a dita corrente de água tendo uma condutividade de cerca de 0,0001 a cerca de 100 s/m, eletrolisando a dita corrente de água na dita zona de eletrolisador definida por pelo menos umpar de eletrodos permitindo o tratamento o tratamento de microorganismos, dito pelo menos um par de eletrodos compreendendo um anodo e um catodo sem meios separadores, dita corrente de água de sendo guiada substancialmente perpendicularmente através do dito pelo menos um anodo e catodo enquanto impondo uma voltagem através d dito anodo e catodo e fornecendo uma corrente direta ao dito anodo e catodo, retirando da zona de eletrolisador uma corrente de água tratada. A invenção também se refere a uma célula eletrolítica na qual dito processo pode ser realizado, e ao uso da célula eletrolítica.
