"MUTANTES DA ACETOHIDRóXI áCIDO SINTETASE RESISTENTES à RETROALIMENTAçãO". A presente invenção refere-se a seqüências de nucleotídeos que codificam mutantes da acetohidróxi ácido sintetase (AHAS), as próprias enzimas mutadas e um processo para a produção fermentativa de aminoácidos de cadeia ramificada utilizando estas enzimas em hospedeiros específicos em que os genes que codificam a acetohidróxi ácido sintetase (AHAS) mutante são expressos.
