Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO DE RESINA ESTIRêNICA, ARTIGO, RECIPIENTE, E, MéTODO PARA A PREPARAçãO DA COMPOSIçãO DE RESINA ESTIRêNICA". Composição de resina estirênica, compreendendo um copolímero de anidrido maleico e estireno modificado por borracha e polibuteno. A resina é preparada por diversos métodos, incluindo a adição de polibuteno no reator, ou a adição de polibuteno no xarope que sai do reator antes de entrar no desvolatilizador, ou compondo o polibutadieno no polímero em um extrusor, depois que o polímero sai do desvolatilizador. O polibuteno varia de 0,1 a 8% em peso e tem um peso molecular médio numérico de 900 a 2500. A borracha varia de 4% a 20% em peso, e tem um tamanho de partícula de 0,1 mícrons a 11 mícrons. A resina pode ser extrusada em uma chapa e termocurada em um artigo, ou pode ser co-extrusada para produzir um artigo laminado, o qual poderá ser um recipiente para alimentos embalados, que pode ser aquecido em fornos de microondas e cujo recipiente tem propriedades de rigidez, alongamento e resistência à distorção pelo calor melhoradas.
