Abstract

"CONJUNTO DE VEDAçãO REFORçADO". A presente invenção refere-se a conjunto de vedação adaptado para uso em conjunção com um conjunto de trocarte que inclui um corpo de vedação que permite a inserção seletiva e a remoção de instrumentos. O corpo de vedação inclui uma pluralidade de segmentos de vedação sobrepostos, cada segmento de vedação incluindo uma borda periférica com um membro de vedação central se estendendo a partir daí. O membro de vedação central inclui uma borda livre remota da borda periférica. Um tampão de reforço é localizado em pelo menos um dos segmentos de vedação entre a borda periférica e a borda livre do membro de vedação central.
