Abstract
"MONITOR DE BIO-INCRUSTAçãO E MéTODOS PARA MONITORAR OU DETECTAR BIO-INCRUSTAçãO". Um monitor de bio-incrustação é descrito o qual tem uma coluna tendo uma entrada e uma saída; uma linha de alimentação de nutriente de microrganismo localizada a montante da entrada; e um primeiro sensor de pressão localizado a montante da entrada para medir pressão de fluxo e um segundo sistema de pressão localizado a jusante da saída para medir pressão de fluxo. Também descrito está um monitor de bio-incrustação que adicionalmente tem um sistema de recirculação e opcionalmente material de compactação inerte localizado na coluna. Um método para monitorar ou detectar bio-incrustação antecipadamente em um sistema aquoso é adicionalmente divulgado.
