Abstract

"TRANSMISSãO HIDROMECâNICA PARALELA DE INFRAPROPULSãO". Uma transmissão hidromecânica paralela continuamente variável possui um alojamento (107) que abriga uma bomba de recuperação (52) e possui cavidades internas para alojar montagens operacionais da transmissão, incluindo uma bomba de pistão axial (50) e um motor de pistão axial (60). A bomba (50) e o motor (60) possuem cada um elemento rotativo (206) e um elemento não rotativo (258). Cada elemento de bomba não rotativo é montado para que tenha um movimento oscilante nos moentes (258P) em seu respectivo par de mancais de montagem no alojamento (107). Os eixos oscilantes dos elementos não-rotativos (258) ficam em posição transversa aos eixos de rotação dos elementos rotativos (206). A bomba (50) e o motor (60) são dispostos lado a lado no alojamento (107) com os eixos de rotação aproximadamente paralelos entre si. Uma tubulação fixa (70) presa ao alojamento (107) possui uma superfície em contato com o elemento rotativo de bomba (206P) e uma segunda superfície em contato com o elemento rotativo de motor (206M). As passagens de fluido (149, 208) abrem nas duas superfícies em comunicação de fluido com os cilindros de bomba e motor (206) através de uma interface de bomba/tubulação. As passagens internas de fluido (149, 208) na tubulação fixa (70) transmitem fluido pressurizado na bomba (50) diretamente ao motor (60) e transmitem o fluido gasto retirado do motor de volta à bomba. A taxa de transmissão é controlada pelo ângulo de oscilação dos elementos de motor e bomba não rotativos (258). Um aparelho de controle do ângulo de oscilação (100) preso ao alojamento (107) e aos elementos de motor e bomba não rotativos (258) rege tal ângulo de oscilação.
