Abstract

"HASTE DE TAMPãO" A presente invenção refere-se a uma haste de tampão, cuja estanqueidade a gás e rigidez são aperfeiçoadas. Em particular, a haste de tampão da presente invenção possui meios para a manutenção da compressão da gaxeta de vedação (11,11') em contato com a superfície de vedação anular (10) do corpo de material refratário quando a haste de tampão é colocada em alta temperatura. De acordo com uma modalidade da invenção, estes meios são proporcionados por uma luva (12), que compreende um material com um alto coeficiente de expansão térmica, cuja dilatação mantém a gaxeta de vedação sob compressão quando a haste de tampão é colocada em alta temperatura.
