Abstract
<B>AFERIçãO DE VAZAMENTO ATRAVéS DOS DUTOS<D> Um sistema de detecção de vazamento de tubo compreende uma sonda flexível alongada com uma porção de corpo (11) de comprimento suficiente para percorrer ao longo de um tubo (12). Pares de vedações (16,17 e 18, 19) definem um volume de vedação com a parede interna do tubo. Uma região de teste vizinha pode então ser utilizada para determinar o vazamento. uma fonte de pressão de fluido é aplicada às linhas 26 e 28. Com pressão igual em ambas as regiões de vedação e de teste conforme indicado pelo manómetro (32) nenhum vazamento ocorrerá em torno das vedações. Uma velocidade de fluxo de saída interncional é permitida da linha 29 e qualquer diferencial no fluxo, conforme detectado pelos medidores de fluxo (38 e 39), indicará a velocidade de vazamento efetivo.
