Abstract

"FORMA APERFEIçOADA DE BORRACHA SINTéTICA" é proporcionado um método o qual reduz os finos ao mesmo tempo em que mantém as vantagens do manuseio contínuo de grandes volumes dos elastómeros granulares ou particulados tais como aqueles produzidos em processos de fase gasosa e o qual propicia manuseio contínuo de grandes volumes de borrachas ou elastómeros sintéticos tais como aqueles produzidos nos processos de solução e/ou suspensão. O método compreende (1) alimentar um elastómero na forma de migalhas ou um elastómero granular que opcionalmente contém finos funtamente com opcionalmente um ou mais materiais de carga a um misturador/extrusor onde ele é mastigado e fundido na forma de um composto; (2) bombear o composto através de um orifício do misturador/extrusor, e (3) cortar e formar o composto como grãos variando em tamanho desde a partir de cerca de 0,5 até 30 mm.
