Abstract

<B>PROCESSO E INSTALAçãO PARA O TRATAMENTO TéRMICO DE AGLOMERADOS<D> A invenção refere-se a um processo para o tratamento térmico de aglomerados numa pluralidade de zonas sucessivas de tratamento num reator, no qual os aglomerados são continuamente alimentados para uma zona de alimentação, são secos e aquecidos numa zona de secagem e de aquecimento, que segue a zona de alimentação, são cozidos numa zona de cozimento, são esfriados numa zona de esfriamento que segue a zona de cozimento e são descarregados a partir do reator numa zona de descarga, que segue a zona de esfriamento, uma mistura de gás combustível sendo introduzida no reator numa zona de suprimento de gás, disposta imediatamente no sentido ascendente da zona de descarga, conforme visto na direção do movimento dos aglomerados, que inflama a mistura de gás combustível numa zona de cozimento, sendo extraído do reator como gás inerte. A invenção também se refere a uma instalação para realizar o processo. O processo, de acordo com a invenção, pode ser usado para cozer aglomerados com uma alta qualidade e de uma maneira particularmente económica de energia.
