<B>MODIFICADOR PARA MELHORAR O DESEMPENHO DAS MISTURAS BETUMINOSAS USADAS NA PAVIMENTAçãO DE ESTRADAS<D> Esta invenção se refere a um modificador para melhorar o desempenho das misturas betuminosas usadas na pavimentação de estradas, que se dispersa facilmente em qualquer proporção e conduz a propriedades melhoradas com respeito as misturas betuminosas tradicionais. O modificador, objeto desta invenção, está constituído por uma dispersão concentrada de um polímero em uma fração pesada procedente de operações de refinamento de petróleo, na qual são adicionadas cargas do tipo utilizadas na fabricação de misturas betuminosas para estradas. Além destes três componentes principais, (polímero, fração pesada e cargas), o modificador pode conter outros que convenham a mistura, como promotores de aderência. Estes componentes se misturam em equipamentos como os utilizados na fabricação de goma elástica.
