Resumo da Patente de Invenção para: <B>"APARELHO E PROCESSO PARA O ACOPLAMENTO DE LUZ DE ALTA INTENSIDADE à FIBRA óPTICA DE BAIXA TEMPERATURA"<D> Um processo e um aparelho para o acoplamento de luz de alta intensidade (82) a uma fibra óptica de baixa temperatura de fusão (80), que usa uma fibra óptica de baixa AN, de elevada temperatura, como um filtro espacial (84), entre uma fonte de luz de alta intensidade (33) e uma fibra óptica de baixa AN, de baixa temperatura de fusão (80). Em uma concretização alternativa, o filtro espacial (84B) é composto por um feixe fundido de fibras ópticas. A fonte de luz (33) pode ser uma lâmpada de arco de alta intensidade ou pode ser uma fibra óptica de elevada temperatura de fusão, de elevada AN, transmitindo luz desde uma fonte de luz remota.
