Abstract
Patente de Invenção "ACOPLAMENTO DE LUZ APERFEIçOADO DE UMA LâMPADA DE ARCO PEQUENO EM UM ALVO MAIOR". Um guia de luz (8) é usado para acoplar o máximo possível de luz de uma fonte de formação de imagem (1), tendo uma grande abertura numérica, em um componente de fibra óptica (7), com uma abertura numérica relativamente menor. Um bastão blindado afilado, um atado fundido afilado de fibras ópticas, um tubo refletivo oco afilado, um CPC ou uma lente negativa, quando usado como um guia de luz, proporciona um acoplamento eficiente de luz em um componente de fibra óptica, sem perda da densidade de fluxo. Esse sistema é especialmente vantajoso, quando usado com uma fonte de formação de imagem que produz um tamanho de ponto de imagem muito pequeno com grande abertura numérica, tal como um produzindo uma imagem 1:1 como um refletor fora de eixo esférico.
