A invenção refere-se a um elemento de aquecimento (z) para uma parte tocável de um veículo automóvel, especialmente para o volante da direção (i), sendo que o elemento de aquecimento (2) consiste em um portador têxtil (6) com pelo menos uma resistência de aquecimento (7). Segundo a invenção é previsto que é utilizado um portador têxtil (6) feito em malha ou tricotado.
