Abstract

''AQUECEDOR DUPLO COM ELEMENTOS DE RESISTêNCIA FIXA E DE PTC''. O aquecedor inclui um elemento aquecedor de resistência relativamente fixa para prover uma taxa de aquecimento maior em temperaturas ambiente menores e/ou ambientes de alta transferência térmica. O aquecedor adicionalmente inclui um elemento aquecedor de PTC (coeficiente de temperatura positivo) de resistência relativamente variável que tem uma resistência que aumenta em resposta a temperatura aumentada, deste modo provendo auto-regulação por meio de um calor reduzido em temperaturas aumentadas. Os elementos aquecedores de resistência relativamente fixa e variável são tipicamente providos em lados opostos de um apoio aquecedor, mas podem ser separados por uma camada dielétrica sobre um único lado de um apoio aquecedor.
