Abstract
"SISTEMA DE DETECçãO DE FALHAS PARA ATUADORES DE UM SISTEMA DE TRANSMISSãO CONTROLADOS POR SOLENóIDE". Um sistema e método melhorados para detectar falhas relacionadas a solenóide em um conjunto atuador controlado por solenóide. O sistema inclui um circuito processador que controla um circuito acionador de solenóide para energizar e desenergizar o solenóide, um circuito detetor de corrente para detectar a corrente no solenóide, e um circuito comutador de suprimento de energia para seletivamente conectar e desconectar um suprimento de energia do circuito acionador de solenóide. O circuito de processamento implementa lógica de detecção de falha sendo que o circuito processador detecta a corrente no solenóide e, se a corrente detectada excede um valor de corrente pré-determinado por um período de tempo pré-determinado, desconecta o suprimento de voltagem do circuito acionador de solenóide e mede a taxa de declínio de voltagem no circuito acionador de solenóide para determinar se uma falha de circuito aberto ou uma falha de curto circuito existe.
