Abstract

"CONVERSOR PARA AMÈNIA E PROCESSO PARA CONVERTER GáS DE PURGA DE CIRCUITO FECHADO DE SìNTESE DE AMÈNIA CONTENDO NITROGêNIO E HIDROGêNIO PARA FORMAR AMÈNIA ADICIONAL, E, PROCESSO PARA RETROAJUSTE DE UMA PLANTA DE AMÈNIA" Um reator tubular vertical para converter gás de purga de circuito fechado de síntese de amónia em amónia; um processo para converter gás de purga de circuito fechado de síntese de amónia para formar amónia adicional; e um processo para retroajuste de uma planta de amónia convencional que tem um circuito fechado de síntese que usa um catalisador de síntese à base de ferro e que tem um fluxo de gás purga, o processo incluindo um conversor de amónia suplementar para o fluxo de gás de purga. O conversor de amónia suplementar é um reator de casco e tubo. Os tubos são cheios de um catalisador que compreende um metal do grupo da platina tal como rutênio. Os tubos são mantidos em um condição substancialmente isotérmica por água em ebulição no lado do casco. Como uma modificação de retro ajuste a uma planta de síntese de amónia existente, o fluxo de purga é passado através do conversor de amónia suplementar em uma base de passagem de uma só vez para formar amónia adicional e reduzir a quantidade de gás de purga.
