Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "<B>PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAçãO DE MATERIAIS CERâMICOS RESISTENTES A TEMPERATURAS ELEVADAS, COM UM COEFICIENTE DE DILATAçãO TéRMICA AJUSTáVEL, E SUA APLICAçãO"<D>. Processo para a preparação de materiais resistentes a elevadas temperaturas, cerâmicas, a partir do sistema MgO - Al~ 2~O~ 3~, com um coeficiente de dilatação térmica <244> de platina e de suas ligas, que se situa na faixa de 9 x 10~ -6~K~ -1~ até 15 x 10~ -6~ K~ -1~, sendo que as misturas de componentes, que contêm óxido de magnésio (MgO) com frações entre 30 - 99 partes em peso e aluminato de magnésio (MgAl~ 2~O~ 4~ ) com frações entre 1 - 70 partes em peso, em cada caso, em diferentes distribuições de tamanhos de grãos, sendo que, pela escolha das misturas e da distribuição dos tamanhos de partícula nas misturas, ajusta-se o coeficiente de dilatação.
