O MESMO, E, APLICAçãO DO MESMO".<D>A invenção se refere a um processo de fabricação de fios de mater vidro cortados, no qual corta-se os fios de material termoplástico em uma zona na qual pelo menos uma roda de apoio e uma roda porta-lâminas, simultaneamente em rotação, estão em contato. De acordo com a invenção, efetua-se uma usinagem de pelo menos uma parte da superfície periférica da dita roda de apoio em rotação e em contato com a roda porta-lâminas, de maneira a compensar seu desgaste. Aplicação para a fabricação de fios de vidro cortados diretamente sob a fieira.
