Um tubo de descarga elétrica para um espectrómetro de emissão gasosa e processo para análise e medição de baixos níveis de concentração de impurezas gasosas/vaporosas em uma corrente gasosa sob condições de fluxo contínuo. O tubo de descarga elétrica compreende uma pluralidade de sítios analíticos através dos quais radiação emissiva gerada por uma fonte alternada de energia através do tubo pode ser analisada e mensurada.
