Abstract

''PROCESSO E SISTEMA PARA REVESTIR FIOS PARA COSER, FIO DE COSER REVESTIDO, E, APARELHO PARA REVESTIR FILAMENTOS CONTìNUOS". Processos de revestir fio para coser utilizando uma composição curável por radiação e fio para coser revestido resultante. O fio para coser é revestido com uma composição curável por radiação, que exibe uma cura auto-sustentável após a exposição à radiação. A composição é aplicada utilizando técnicas de revestir por contato para revestir e impregnar o fio com resina. O fio revestido é então exposto à radiação para curar o revestimento. Devido à cura ser auto-sustentável, a composição reage de modo mais inteiro e mais completo para formar um revestimento com maior durabilidade e reduzida suscetibilidade a desprender-se ou escamar durante o uso em aplicações industriais rigorosas.
