Abstract

''PROCESSO PARA PRODUZIR FOLHA DE TABACO RECONSTITUìDA MOLDADA''. Processo para melhorar a qualidade para fumar e as propriedades mecânicas de uma folha de tabaco reconstituída moldada é levado a efeito pela adição de materiais de tabaco a uma solução aquosa contendo sais de amónio e hidróxido de amónio. Essa primeira suspensão de tabaco resultante é em seguida pressurizada com uma pressão de vapor de pelo menos 4,2 kg/cm² por um período de aproximadamente 1 a 5 minutos e em seguida rapidamente despressurizada até a pressão ambiente. O tabaco despressurizado é então formado como uma segunda suspensão de tabaco. O resíduo de tabaco resultante é a seguir moldado como uma folha reconstituída de tabaco para um processamento adicional para artigos para fumar.
