Abstract

"PROCESSOS PARA INIBIR A REMOBILIZAçãO PRé-E/OU PóS-COLHEITA DE COMPOSTOS DE ARMAZENAMENTO EM PLANTAS, PARA EVITAR A GERMINAçãO DE UMA PARTE DE PLANTA, PARA INDUZIR GERMINAçãO EM UMA PLANTA, E PARA LIBERAR A INIBIçãO DE REMOBILIZAçãO PRé- E PóS-COLHEITA DE COMPOSTOS DE ARMAZENAMENTO EM PLANTAS" Esta invenção descreve u processo para evitar a germinação em plantas vegetativamente propagadas como batata, morango, banana e plantas bulbosas como cebola e flores bulbosas, por transformação da planta ou uma planta de uma de suas linhagens originárias com um gene codificando para trehalose fosfato sintase. A restauração da germinação é também provida.
