Abstract
Patente de Invenção: MOINHO TRITURADOR. Um moinho triturador possui um recipiente rotativo (40) ao qual é alimentado material particulado. O recipiente é girado acima da velocidade crítica para formar uma camada que fica retida sob alta pressão contra a superfície interna do recipiente. Discos cisalhadores (58) montados no interior do recipiente induzem o cisalhamento da camada para promover a fratura das partículas por cisalhamento e abrasão na camada pressurizada. O material triturado fino se movimenta axialmente para a extremidade de descarga (64) do recipiente. Em uma forma da invenção, o recipiente é girado com velocidade suficiente para formar uma série de zonas solidificadas (70) que se alternam com zonas agitadas (72) próximo a discos cisalhantes (58) não rotativos. Tais zonas solidificadas atuam como discos sólidos girando com o recipiente.
