<B>"PLANTA E PROMOTORES VIRAIS, CONSTRUCTOS QUE INCLUEM TAIS PROMOTORES, MéTODO DE EXPRESSãO DO PRODUTO DE UM GENE EM UMA CéLULA DE PLANTA E DITAS CéLULAS"<D> A invenção provê planta e promotores virais que podem ser usados para conferir alto nível de expressão de gene em plantas transgênicas. Promotores representativos podem ser isolados do genoma de badnavirus infectando banana Australiana de cultivos Mysore, Williams e Goldfinger. A invenção provê ainda constructos que incluem os promotores apresentados ligados operativamente a uma seq³ência de codificação. Ainda providos são um método de expressão do produto de um gene em uma célula de planta, células de planta tendo constructos de DNA dentro de seus genomas, e plantas compreendendo células transgênicas.
