Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"GERADOR DE GáS"<D>. A presente invenção refere-se a um gerador de gás compreendendo uma caixa (10) cujo espaço interno é uma câmara de reservatório (11). Uma cabeça de carga (12) e uma cabeça de difusor (13) são ligadas com a caixa. Uma carga de ignição (16) com dois jogos de ignição (17,17a) é disposta na cabeça de carga (12). Ambos os jogos de ignição (17,17a) podem ser disparados de modo independente um do outro, por meio de elementos de ignição (21,22). Através da queima de uma das duas cargas de ignição (17,17a), gases combustíveis são gerados e geram uma pressão em uma câmara intermediária(25). A pressão puxa a seção de cabeça (33) de um tubo (34) para a direção da cabeça de difusor (33). Um elemento de fechamento (38) é destruído pelo tubo (34) permitindo que o gás flui da câmara de reservatório (11) através das aberturas de entrada (41,42) para a seção interna do tubo (34) e saindo do tubo (34), para a cabeça de difusor (13) passando por uma abertura de saída (44). O gás sai da cabeça de difusor (13) para air-bag, através de aberturas (49).
