Abstract
"DISPOSITIVO CIRúRGICO PARA CORTAR SUBSTANCIALMENTE ATRAVéS DE UMA CóRNEA DE UM OLHO DE UM PACIENTE". Um dispositivo cirúrgico para cortar substancialmente através de uma córnea de um olho de um paciente, o dispositivo incluindo um anel posicionador estruturado para ser temporariamente ligado a uma porção do olho envolvendo a córnea a ser cortada, e definindo uma abertura dimensionada para receber e expor a córnea a ser cortada. O dispositivo cirúrgico adicionalmente inclui um conjunto de cabeçote de corte estruturado para ser guiado e acionado sobre uma superfície superior do anel posicionador em uma trajetória geralmente curvada, e tendo um elemento de corte posicionado nele e estruturado para oscilar lateralmente para facilitar corte suave e efetivo da córnea. O conjunto de cabeçote de corte está estruturado para ser destacavelmente acoplado ao anel posicionador por um membro acoplador que permite movimento do conjunto de cabeçote de corte em relação ao anel posicionador ao longo da trajetória geralmente curvada, mas mantendo contato suficiente entre eles para garantir que movimento de acionamento suave, estável, seja obtido.
