Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO DE POLìMERO E FORMULAçãO DE ADESIVO DE FUSãO A QUENTE". A invenção em questão está direcionada para composições de polímero que compreendem um interpolímero de etileno/alfa-olefina homogêneo, uma cera e um agente de nucleação, onde o agente de nucleação é provido em uma quantidade efetiva, de modo que a porcentagem de alongamento na quebra da composição de polímero seja pelo menos cinq³enta por cento maior que o alongamento percentual na quebra de uma composição comparativa que não possui o agente de nucleação. As composições de polímero da invenção encontrarão utilidade em aplicações requerendo um alto alongamento na quebra, enquanto mantém um início alto de temperatura de cristalização, tal como o revestimento de alta velocidade de tecidos, forros de carpete, revestimento e laminado para piso, e adesivos.
