Abstract
Patente de Invenção <B>"COMPOSIçõES DE CATALISADOR DERIVADAS A PARTIR DE PENEIRAS MOLECULARES CONTENDO T ITâNIO"<D>. Composições de catalisador úteis são produzidas por tratamento de peneiras moleculares substituídas com compostos de titânio reativos, tais como tetrahalogenetos de titânio, de preferência, na fase de vapor, em tempreraturas elevadas. Os materiais de partida de peneira molecular contêm óxidos de telúrio, de boro ou de germânio, em adição a óxidos de silício e de titânio. Olefinas são transformadas, de maneira eficiente, em epóxidos, usando-se essas composições de catalisador e um agente oxidante, tal como peróxido de hidrogênio ou um hidroperóxido orgânico.
