Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>''PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAçãO DE áLCOOIS SATURADOS''<D>. Processo para a preparação de álcoois saturados abrangendo 1) uma condensação de aldol de alquilmetilcetonas ramificadas no átomo de carbono beta com 6 - 8 átomos de carbono com aldeídos ramificados no átomo de carbono alfa com 4 - 15 átomos de carbono com formação de cetonas alfa, beta-insaturadas e 2) uma hidrogenação seguinte das cetonas alfa-insaturadas em álcoois saturados, sendo que a condensação do aldol é efetuada na presença de uma solução aquosa a 30-55%, de preferência, 40-50% de um hidróxido de metal alcalino em uma temperatura de 60-130°C, de preferência, 80-120°C. O processo se caracteriza por uma baixa formação e subprodutos.
