"PROCESSOS DE PROTETOR CONTRA CóPIA UM SUPORTE DE GRAVAçãO E DE DETECTAR INFORMAçõES DE CONTROLE DE ACESSO SOBRE UM SUPORTE DE GRAVAçãO, SIPORTE DE GRAVAçãO PROTEGIDO CONTRA CóPIA, E, SISTEMA DE RECUPERAçãO PARA RECUPERAR INFORMAçõES DE UM SUPORTE DE GRAVAçãO PROTEGIDO CONTRA CóPIA". é apresentado um processo para proteger contra cópia um suporte de gravação, em cujo processo os suportes de gravação protegidos contra cópia são munidos de um padrão de erros lógicos que não podem ser corrigidos pelas regras corretoras de erro predefinidas para o suporte de gravação. O padrão de erros lógicos representa informações de controle de acesso. Os erros lógicos são gerados durante a decodificação da seq³ência de bits lida do suporte de gravação. Os erros de bit podem ser posicionados na seq³ência de bits de maneira a frustar a desintercalação que é parte de um processo de decodificação de erros em um dispositivo de leitura e acumular em palavras de erro não são corrigíveis. Também um processo de detectar informações de controle de acesso e um sistema de recuperação são expostos, cujo sistema de recuperação serve para detectar as informações de controle de acesso selecionando pelo menos uma locação de erro, porém nem todas as locações de erro sobre o suporte de gravação, e verificar a presença de um erro pela leitura da locação de erro selecionada através dos dispositivos de leitura.
