Abstract
"SISTEMA PARA DETECTAR FOLHAS SOBREPOSTAS". Sistema para detectar a passagem de notas sobrepostas ao longo de um trajeto de alimentação, o sistema inclui uma estação de detecção (12) através da qual o trajeto de alimentação passa e o qual tem uma lâmpada de filamento (48) e um sensor ótico (50). A magnitude de um sinal de saída do sensor ótico é dependente da intensidade da luz recebida. Um micro controlador (52) estabelece um valor limite do sinal de saída pelo ajuste da intensidade da luz emitida a partir da lâmpada quando não existe nota na estação de detecção, para um primeiro nível. Um modulador de comprimento de pulso (56) aumenta a intensidade da luz emitida a partir do primeiro nível para um segundo nível, de modo que quando existe uma nota presente na estação de detecção o sinal de saída está acima do nível limite. A intensidade da luz emitida é mantida no segundo nível onde as notas sobrepostas induzem uma queda substancial no sinal de saí do sensor ótico. O micro controlador monitor o sinal de saída para detectar se isso ocorre. Esse sistema pode ser utilizado no lugar de sistemas de detecção de folhas sobrepostas mais complicados e dispendiosos, tal como aqueles incorporando roletes cooperantes.
